Description

On the 4th March 2009, my life changed forever. My Dad, the man I looked up too, the man who in my eyes had 'everything' on paper took his own life. After it happened I struggled to deal with the grief, I buried the pain and found myself asking the question 'why' over and over again. I too then found myself struggling with depression and anxiety. This Podcast is all about documenting not only my own personal journey to discovering more about mental health and suicide, but to also document other stories too. It's time to talk about mental health, it's time to give it the voice it deserves and hopefully this Podcast can provide that. Hopefully this Podcast helps show others that they're not alone... Paul McGregor is an author, lecturer, a mental health advocate, husband, Father of 2 and avid Liverpool supporter. He shares daily content, giving mental health a voice across multiple social platforms and through speaking and workshops across the UK.

Customer Reviews

My go to podcast

Following Paul on Instagram and instantly knew this young man would help me with my mental health. So happy I came across Paul and just a massive thank you. You really have helped me and I know many feel the same.

Refreshingly honest young man

Like I said in the title Paul is a very honest young man looking to make a difference. I just joined today and I’m on the fourth podcast already. His story is moving and although there is heartache it’s a story with a message of hope. If you are struggling with mental health or know someone who is struggling I recommend listening to this guy. I think over time Paul will be making a massive impact with his project. So watch this space and in the meantime listen to his words of wisdom. Then read his book if you haven’t done already.
