Always highly informative with news and features. I enjoy the UK-slant, which makes it all the more relevant. This is a great companion to the magazine, striking the balance being a weekly version without being a spoiler for the next monthly print edition.
Excellent Tech Podcast
Entertaining and informative podcast. Keeps you up to date with the latest news in the tech world and is a great companion to the monthly mag.
Informative and entertaining, but flawed
I have been listening to the PC Pro podcast for a number of years and have generally found it to be helpful, well-informed and amusing, however I fear that, after suffering its only major failing as much as I can, we have now reached the end of the line and must part. There is, unfortunately, one member of the podcast team that I can no longer suffer. Although they are obviously highly intelligent, they insist on spouting ill-informed and spectacularly arrogant opinions on subjects they clearly know nothing about. This week's astoundingly misjudged and fact-free opinions on the quality of Jessops' staff and ideas to save retailer HMV finally pushed me over the edge. I'm afraid my tolerance level of such people seems to become lower as I get older and this means I can now derive very little pleasure from listening to the podcast; a huge shame as the rest of the team are a real pleasure to listen to. Farewell, and thanks for all the tech.
