We live life in the fast lane. We race to keep up with The Joneses. We are over-worked, over-connected and over-stressed, and we compete on how busy and important and sleep-deprived we are. But we don't have to. There is an ever-growing group of people who are saying no to life lived at 110%. They are opting to slow down, simplify, say no and focus on the things that are truly important. Brooke McAlary, founder of, is one of them, and in this podcast she chats to others who have adopted a similar approach to life: simple living, slowing down, opting out, saying no. Learn what makes people change, how life is different, and what their advice is to anyone looking to get out of the fast lane.

Customer Reviews

I love this podcast, great guests great chats and always inspired projects. Thank you!

I subscribed to the podcast after purchasing the book Simple. The podcast is spoiled by the banal and constant interruptions by Ben who can’t seem to let Brooke finish a sentence without adding some pointless comment. Will unsubscribe.

More Brooke, less Ben please

More Brooke, less Ben please.
Great interviews, love the guests and what they offer. The discussions with ‘real people’ are just as interesting and engaging as those with experts.
Brooke is very prepared to speak to her guests and asks great questions.
The chatter between Ben and Brooke tend to be less thoughtful and more air filler, often bordering on silly. Skip that bit!
Please keep delivering discussions that are thought provoking. Share peoples genuine stories, their struggles and triumphs.
But please enough with the ‘PogPast’
