Always Top Stuff
Discovered this podcast halfway through last season and it has been essential weekly listening ever since. The knowledge of the subject is both deep and varied and it's always great to hear opinions unfettered by an agenda or towing a party line...the banter between the 3 of them is always entertaining and at its best when the subject induces strong opinions. And on top of that, they're all great blokes.
Soccerjens is just disturbing though ;-)
Too hit and miss
I've listened to two of the podcasts so far and one was really good and interesting whereas the other was a shambles.
The chat on the goal line technology (Ep 112) was really interesting with some excellent points made and delivered in an excellent way.
Episode 113 was looking at the expectations on the England football team, however, to be honest the podcast came across as a bit of a shambles. The lowest point was when all three contributers forgot and didn't have access to the group that England were in for Euro 2012, baring in mind this was bound to be a major talking point as the next major competition that England are involved in, it was a bit poor.
I have given 4 stars as the first episode I listened to really was good and I am hoping 113 was just a glitch.
Edit: Sorry lads, the latest episode (114a) was unlistenable due to the background noise in the pub/bar. I've had to unsubscribe, the episodes I've listened to are too hit and miss for me. Good luck with future podcasts.
122b was the first one I've attempted to listen to. I won't be trying again - utterly horrendous audio made what may well have been very entertaining content almost entirely pointless.
