Gab Marcotti and a selection of leading football writers give their thoughts and analysis on the latest events in football

Customer Reviews

A must listen!!!

Insightful, intelligent football chat, presented by the fantastic Danny Kelly. One thing that may also delight and surprise is, contrary to most other football shows, the journalists on this show actually give their honest opinions, regardless of who they might upset. Oh, and Alyson Rudd sings a song at the end of each podcast, no really....

Has continued to improve...

Initially I thought that The Guardian football weekly was so much better but brilliant interviews with, among others, Eamonn Dunphy have raised the stakes and seen this (The Game) overtake it as the best podcast. Instead of stupid jokes about getting pissed with the odd football comment this is actually about football. And now Phil is the presenter it might even add a little humour....

Much improved

Used to dislike this long-running podcast, but it's really improved of late. Give it another go if you've previously written it off.
