A lovely thing.
Chris Wombles his way through Brenda’s fascinating life beautifully. It’s gentle but Lovely. And constantly surprising.
What a lady, what a podcast!
Brenda - what a woman! Serious life goals. Chris is a brilliant and charming interviewer who allows Brenda to tell her wonderful story so well. This podcast is a lovely way of reaching out to a fascinating generation, I really can’t wait for the next episode. In the meantime I’m going to call my gran for a chat.
Millennials living life on your phones, take note!
I finished listening to this on the drive home. Bloody loved it. Love Brenda. Chris's questioning is really direct and steering but v warm w it. I was engrossed from 10 mins in. I love that, in hearing from this lucid, charismatic octogenarian, there's this 20th century history, circumstance and context that comes through. It's like The 100 Year Old That Climbed Out The Window but in a stripped back conversation over a cuppa. More please!!
