Customer Reviews

Practical and well pitched podcast.

I'd pottered with Vim for years but could never get my head around using it 'full time' over Textmate. After making the switch, I found it hard going but worthwhile. Vimcasts helped me by confirming what knowledge I'd already picked up, teaching me more about Vim's editing philosophy and by sharing those all important tid-bits -- the ones you learn and never shake off.

Vimcasts is a well presented podcast pitched at the right level. This is not a 'top 10 tips to learn vim' podcast. I've also found the episodes serve as a useful reference and have re-watched many of them.
