Description

From the city that gave us Cheryl Cole, Ant & Dec and Gazza, meet the real Angels Of The North as the girls strut their stuff in mini-skirts shorter than belts and wearing more layers of fake tan than seems humanly possible, whilst the guys pump iron at the gym and drink alcohol as if it's going out of fashion. Expect the kind of language that could make Roy Chubby Brown blush and the sort of behaviour that would embarrass even a Big Brother contestant as MTV's cameras follow some of Newcastle’s finest lads and lasses, as we sneak a peek into their glamorous lives and party lifestyles. This is Geordie Shore, hold on tight!

This can only be a good think for the region

The episode hasn't even been released yet and the only people complaining about it are Geordies, I don't think this paints Newcastle in a bad light at all, shipyards and nukes slums do, this shows what people love Newcastle for, clubs, fun people and the quayside. The programs we should be complaining about are ones which highlight Newcastle as an area of social and economical decay, which is simply not the truth.

This program will get people into the region for tourism and enhance the sense of fun around the city and create a real buzz.

Why are people bad mouthing this? It's funny to watch and entertaining...

Come On The Geordies

A show like this is always gonna attract good and bad reviews. I am a geordie and felt mixed about the show, but for a change it shows we have a fantastic city and great nightlife. The cast? Well, suppose they are just the usual people who had been signed up to agencies looking for modelling and TV work, so no matter where the show is based you would still get the same pumped up, orange looking, people wanting to go wild on TV and get a name for themselves. Go for it lads and lasses and enjoy it!
