Emotionally powerful and sharply relevant, An Inspector Calls is a mysterious detective thriller set in 1912 and written by English dramatist JB Priestley. Following the suicide of a young woman from the local town, an inspector calls unexpectedly to interrogate the wealthy Birling family. As their world unravels, each member of the family is revealed to have unwittingly played a part in her demise. Set at a time when society was transforming and women's lives were about to change forever, An Inspector Calls is considered to be one of the classics of 20th century theatre.

How much???

How can the BBC charge £19.95 for a 90 minute TV drama (plus a kid of other crap nobody will ever watch). Most Hollywood blockbusters cost much less than this. Total daylight robbery if ever I saw it!! Utter disgrace!!

Added 29th September 2015

Thank you iTunes / BBC for reducing or correcting the price to a more respectable and affordable £9.99.

Waste of money

Just watch it on Iplayer

BBC rip-off

The BBC have refused to let this be watched on BBC i-player, and are seemingly charging £10 for it. Why are they picking and choosing what they do and do not want to charge for. They are going against their own principals as their broadcasts are clearly not accessible to all.
