Shortly after a coin toss decides which team gets to pick the first preliminary fight, coach Conor McGregor gathers the European fighters and delivers a prepared speech outlining what his team can expect this season.

Conor McGregor shows up for the evening practice and is very hands on with technique with his team, then focuses on getting his fighter ready for the second preliminary fight. On the other side, Urijah Faber trains his American fighter.

Urijah and Conor argue over coaching styles and a member of Team Faber skips practice. Meanwhile, American Tom Gallicchio faces off against Poland's Marcin Wrzosek in the third preliminary match of the competition.

An unorthodox fighter from Team Faber faces one of the top competitors of Team Europe in the fifth fight of the season. After UFC Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw arrives to help Urijah, Conor calls him a traitor, causing all hell breaks lose.
