Food Sail Love

Narelle and Patrick begin in the small fishing town of Chioggia, preparing the yacht for its voyage. Located at the southern end of the Venice Lagoon, they explore the lovely town and introduce some of the colourful people they have come to know.

Upon arrival in Venice, Narelle visits an old friend, Renato, who is the head chef at the hotel Cipriani in Casanova's gardens. He invites Narelle to join him in his kitchen to learn how to cook some of his favourite Venetian dishes.

Patrick and Narelle sail to southern Turkey and visit the picturesque village of Kalekoy, in the Kekova area. They explore the village and its ancient culture, where the inhabitants live in the 2500-year-old dwellings of their ancestors.

Patrick and Narelle reach Lindos just in time for their wedding anniversary celebration. They tour the mediaeval church where they were married and then take a Lindos taxi to the Acropolis to have a look at the ongoing restoration work.

Patrick and Narelle sail into the beautiful amphitheatrical harbour of Symi at sunrise. One of the Dodecanese Islands in the Aegean, the harbour displays distinctive neo-classical architecture.

Patrick and Narelle sail to Galaxidi, halfway up the Gulf of Corinth, for breakfast. Later, there is a moussaka in the galley under sail.
