Shaun Evans and Roger Allam return as DC Endeavour Morse and DI Fred Thursday in a quartet of new murder mysteries, each unique and breathtaking in their complexity. Last seen languishing in a prison cell and framed for a crime he didn't commit, Endeavour is impelled to return to duty when a young woman's baffling murder requires his singularly cerebral mind to solve. As both men struggle to find their bearings amidst the rapidly changing climate of early 1967, these four new cases set against the dreaming spires of Oxford test their partnership in unexpected ways, as Colin Dexter's iconic detective is pushed to new extremes in his unrivalled commitment to truth and justice.

Endeavour episode Ride Series 3 TEAM DXB

Brilliantly put together prequel to the famous Oxford Detective Series.
The cast is superb and the 50/60 's English feel is very well done.
Anton Lesser as a dysfunctional police chief steals most scenes he is in ,but the acting across the board is marvellous.
Difficult to think how it could be improved.

Episode 1

Good if you are not familiar with 'The Great Gatsby' or 'The Prestige'; otherwise perilously close to plagiarism.

Excellent series.

Such a pity there are only 3 episodes in the series. Well acted, meticulously crafted the best spin off from the original morse series.
