Strictly Come Dancing

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return to the ballroom for the launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2021. Dusting off their paddles are returning judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse, alongside the newest addition, Anton Du Beke.

Dancing to keep their place in the competition, our couples return to the Strictly ballroom. This week, they must impress not only the judges but also the viewers at home, as they face the first public vote. One couple will leave the competition this weekend, and as no-one wants to fall at the first hurdle, the dancing will be fierce.

Singer Tom Grennan joins the professionals for a group routine set in a western saloon. It wouldn't be a results show without a dance-off, and two couples go head-to-head to save their place in the competition. Not only that, but singer-songwriter Griff is in the ballroom to perform her new single.

Grab your popcorn and turn your phones off as Strictly Come Dancing goes to the movies. The show opens with a cinematic group routine from our Strictly professionals before the remaining couples take to the ballroom floor for a night of movie-inspired performances. Expect to see some of the silver screen's most iconic characters come to life on the Strictly dancefloor.

Movie Week continues with a routine by the Strictly professionals inspired by 2021 film `In the Heights'. There is also a very special music performance from star of stage and screen Ben Platt, singing `You Will Be Found' from the movie `Dear Evan Hansen'. Two couples face each other in the Movie Week dance-off.
