Gavin and Stacey: Christmas Special
Open iTunes to preview or buy TV programmes.
It’s Christmas time and the Welsh contingent have been invited to celebrate the festive season with the Shipmans. So with the help of Dave and his coach; the Wests head East. Dawn and Pete have come round for Christmas Eve drinks, and Pete’s brought his aged mum. Mick has an enormous turkey soaking in a bucket, Bryn has his mistletoe set to standby and Pam has a cracker of a present under the tree for Mick. But will the season still be jolly when Smithy sees how attached Dave is to baby Neil? Or when Bryn elaborates further on the fishing trip? But most importantly...will there still be tidings of comfort and joy when Gavin delivers a truly unexpected surprise to everyone in the room?

Show is genius - BBC is a rip off
First off, the show is great, but UK licence payers have already paid for this show. Why should we be paying £2.99 for it in iTunes? It's a rip off. I understand that there needs to be a cost and Apple can't store and market their content for free, but it should only be pennies to buy, not the same as or more than content that has not been paid for by UK TV licences. The BBC is ripping us off. For anyone outside of the UK, then yes, they should pay for it, but UK account holders should get BBC content at a substantial discount.
I won't lie to you, this is a tidy show.
Just 2 points: 1) This is a quality TV show and beats almost everything else on at the moment (Extras and TV Burp are great too). 2) Why are folks moaning about the price? £2.99 is good value compared to £1.29 for a 3 minute video or £1.89 for 22 mins of Friends. Even a value meal at McD's is more! This will be at least a tenner on DVD, assuming the BBC milk the cash cow as usual. So buy it if you like it / can afford it and if you don't want to spend £2.99 then don't buy it ! Simple as ...
Fantastic show, odd price
I've given this show 5 stars, because it's just so funny and I wouldn't want to give 3 stars and imply that I don't like the show. But I am confused as to why this costs £2.99, as it is just one single video, and is under an hour, just like any other programme. Any suggestions why it is this price? But overall, great episode and I reccommend it to all G&S fans, as it is not available on the boxsets. x
