Description

Based on an Israeli television series Prisoners of War; a psychological thriller that tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), a CIA officer battling her own demons, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for nine years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Mandy Patinkin will portray Saul, a veteran CIA division chief who is Carrie's (Danes) boss and mentor.

Just great!

Watched when originally aired in the UK and was hooked-I don't mind admitting I usually give these kind of 'same format, ten a penny shows' a wide berth - but this felt and played different.

Clare dames and Damien Lewis are just fantastic - couldn't be be better casting tbh - Nearly overshadowed by the brilliant Mandy Patinkin

I won't spoil any plots in case there's anyone whos still undecided and hasn't seen this series - suffice to say you won't be disappointed.
An ultimately satisfying programme with a decent climax that leaves you excited for series 2

Fantastic

This is a brilliant series and very addictive when watching, its a bit slow at the start but when watching it you will enjoy it!.

A great follow up to 24

This has elements of 24, lots of twists and a female version of Jack who breaks all the rules, has an obsessive disorder and plays solo. The war hero, Brody - is he for real? Has he turned? Who is playing who? Trust no one. As always, it portrays the American political and military system as morally bankrupt. Very addictive.
