I Know Who You Are

Prestigious lawyer, Juan Elias, wakes up after a car crash suffering from amnesia. He soon discovers that he's the main suspect in the disappearance of his niece, Ana Saura, a twenty-five-year-old girl who was also a student of Elias' at the university. The case will pit two powerful families against one another, dredging up secrets from the past they thought long forgotten. Furthermore, during the court proceedings, Elias finds himself up against Eva Duran, the lawyer for the prosecution and Elias' former student and lover. The lawyer tries his best to convince Eva that she's the only one he remembers, but she feels like he's just using her again and decides to leave the case.

The investigation into Ana Saura's disappearance begins. In charge of the case is Inspector Giralt, who soon uncovers some revealing evidence regarding the young girl's disappearance. Meanwhile Elias, desperate to find out who he was before the accident, asks his wife Alicia for help. To give him an idea of the type of people they are, Alicia takes him to a hospital where he sees Bruno, Pol's twin brother, who unbeknown to their other two children, has been living there in a vegetative state since birth. Elias is disgusted by his and his wife's actions, and so turns to his partner Heredia for help. Heredia has proved himself loyal to Elias since the crash, he'll be able to confirm if he was really such a monster before. Eva, meanwhile, decides to go and stay with her grandmother for the time being, eager to get away from Elias and all the media attention. However David, Eva's business partner, obliges her to return, calling for her to be summonsed to a face to face with Elias in order to establish whether or not the lawyer went to see her to tell her he remembered only her and thereby nullify his alibi. Elias successfully gets through the face to face with Eva, alleging that her accusations are motivated by her wanting to get back at him after their break up. Furious, Eva decides to go back on the case and make public all the love letters she received from Elias in the past, in order to turn public opinion against him.

Eva is convinced that the amnesia is all just part of Elias' complex plan. Without any evidence to prove her theory, she decides to go back to all the places she used to go with Elias when they were together, suspecting that he had a similar relationship with Ana. She crosses paths with Elias, who is following clues left to him by his old self. At the same time, Elias and Alicia decide to give an unexpected TV interview in the hope of saving their public image. Giralt meanwhile, discovers from the results of Elias' blood tests that he had been drugged before having the accident. To his surprise, he finds out that Pol, Elias' son, was the one who'd bought the drugs. Pol is arrested and confesses that he deals drugs at the university, but alleges that it was Marc Castro, Ana's stepbrother and Elias' nephew, who drugged him, so that he would mess up his end-of-campaign speech. Elias goes back to the accident site, where he discovers a bag hidden in between some rocks. Inside the bag is a gun and Ana Saura's bag.

Following the clues he finds in Ana's bag, Elias discovers that she went to visit his father-in-law, Hector Castro, in prison. He goes to visit Hector, who promises to give him information about Ana if he brings Pol to see him. Elias knows that if he's going to convince his son to go to the prison, he's going to have be honest with him. Meanwhile, Eva renounces her principles and with the help of Silvia, plants a hidden camera in Elias' hotel room. At the Saura family's house, Ramon goes mad when he finds out that there was something going on between Marc and Ana and kicks Silvia out of the house. Desperate, Silvia turns to the one person who's never let her down; her sister Alicia. Giralt questions Charry, Ana's roommate, and reaches the conclusion that she's hiding something. Charry then has a secret meeting with Alicia and tells her the police are on her back. Alicia asks her to tell them that the baby Ana was expecting was Marc's.

Marc Castro reconstructs events on the night of Ana's disappearance with Hess and Giralt. His version seems to fit theirs until Charry, following Alicia's orders, reveals that Ana was expecting Marc's baby.Unaware of all this, Elias takes Pol to visit his grandfather in jail. Hector, true to his word, gives him information about Ana: she was planning to catch a flight to Thailand that same night. In order to get Eva to trust him, he decides to share the information about Ana's flight with her. Although, not wishing to lose any allies, he also tries to win over Alicia by telling her the truth. Neither of them are aware that Hector Castro has told Pol about the existence of their best kept secret; their son in the hospital.Ramon forgives Silvia and she moves back in, while at the airport, the police arrest Charry just as she's about to board the plane to Thailand.

Elias and Alicia are back working together as a team and decide to do some investigating of their own. They follow the trail of the gun Elias found in his car after the accident and find a confidential report on Heredia, with a bit of luck they might be able to keep Elias out of prison. Elias is advised to undergo some medical tests which will no doubt confirm that he lied during the face to face when he said he didn't remember Eva Duran. Meanwhile, Eva starts to suspect that the mole providing Elias' team with information could be none other than her business partner, David. Elias agrees to undergo the amnesia test on one condition: that Eva spend a day with him; his doctor has told him that she's the key to getting his memory back. Eva agrees, but only if they give her the name of the mole. Elias finally undergoes the medical tests and it is revealed that his only memory is of Eva Duran. Giralt meanwhile, discovers a new clue; a strip of material found at the site of Ana's disappearance belonging to Ezequiel Cortes, a man who disappeared the same day as Ana.
