How I Met Your Mother, Season 1Closed Captioning

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV programmes.

How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted's best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he's going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realizes that he had better get a move on if he hopes to find true love, too. Helping him in his quest is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous, opinions, a penchant for suits, and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he's sure it's love at first sight, but destiny may have something else in store. The show is told through flashbacks from the future.

Himym is the best sitcom you can find right now - it's fallen under the radar a bit here in the uk but please watch it everyone you need barney stinson in your life :-)

Best tv show ever

With all the crap on tv these days it's nice to see a show like this take on a "friends" style format! The show is still very different to friends which in a way makes it that much better!

In essence this show will suit anyone and everyone! It's probably my favourite tv show of all time and Honestly believe no matter who you are , this show will prove it's worth to you! Its quite simply the funniest, most entertaining and light hearted show ever and sets a new bar for what comedies should aspire too these days.

Absolutly Legendary. Pity the second season isn't on here, because that really would be brilliant. Damn my annoying lack of American comedy on my Brittish tv stations :'[
