Classic Doctor Who: The Curse Of Fenric

Ace and the Doctor arrive at a Second World War coastal Naval base, whilst unobserved, a party of Soviet soldiers land upon the beach. When they visit the local church, the time travellers are told of the local Viking curse, and learn of Dr. Judson's ULTIMA machine.

The Doctor manages to persuade the Soviet Captain, Sorin, to delay the assault on the base while he investigates further. Meanwhile, Millington persuades Judson to use the ULTIMA machine to decipher the runic inscriptions and new messages appear in the crypt.

The Doctor is unable to stop the ULTIMA machine as vampiric haemovores roam the village. Millington is convinced that the Viking prophecy is coming true, and that all the dark powers of Fenric will soon be his.

When the chains of Fenric are shattered, an ancient game of war must be re-played. The stores of toxin that Millington planned to use against the Soviet Union become available to Fenric - a poison that could contaminate the world forever.
