Description

Defending their country, deceiving their friends - it's all in a day's work for the agents at MI5, the Security Service. The elite team tackle organised crime, espionage and terrorist activities, as well as the conflicts and power struggles back in the office. There's a car bomb in Liverpool, a siege in the Turkish embassy and the murder of a double agent, not to mention the difficulty of having to lie to loved ones about who you are and what you do. Spy drama starring Matthew Macfayden, Keeley Hawes and Peter Firth.

Customer Reviews

About time!

I was hooked from the beginning. Compulsive viewing and great acting all round. I just can't understand why these early episodes have taken so long to be available on iTunes. Never mind, they're here and worth the money.

Great Series

Really great TV show and I'm very pleased that I can download a good bit of entertainment like this now that I no longer live in the UK. I paid 4.99 for the series and want to now download the next however, I am rather annoyed that Apple have now increased the price of all of the sets.

Great Series

New to Spooks, bought the full series after the first episode was given away as a freebie. Yes, well worth the £7.99 at time of writing, so don't be put off by the £4.99 reviewers. This is a strong series for those who like a mix of strong characters, London locations, spying, corruption and a jolly recurring MI6 bod in the form of Hugh Laurie. An absolute hoot.
