It is available to Rent
First - the BBC DO NOT own all the rights to Spooks - the rights are owned by Kudos. Secondly you could download/rent this for free if it had just been broadcast on TV by going through the BBC iPlayer. The BBC buys the rights to show a programme a certain number of times on television and to offer it for download for seven days after broadcast - it doesn't buy the rights to offer it permanently to all licence fee payers - think of it more like the BBC renting shows for a period of time than buying them to play with as they please. Think of this more as comparable to buying a DVD than watching a TV show.
Great! One of the best series.
Spooks is one of the best series out there - a good thriller, interesting characters and well made. Series 6 is one of the best yet too - with a single subplot running through all the episodes (though most are relatively self contained). If you haven't seen it and you like shows such as 24 - watch it!
Can't wait for Season 3
Can't wait until they put up Season 3, with the best episode ever (Episode 7) featuring the brilliant Clare Corbett as a school teacher! Go BBC! Go iTunes! Yay!!
