Welcome to the world of The O.C., and the affluent oceanside community of Newport Beach in Orange County, California. When Ryan Atwood (Ben McKenzie) was taken in from the streets by then public defender Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher) and his wife, Kirsten (Kelly Rowan), they had no idea how Ryan's arrival would change their lives. Their "adorkable" son, Seth (Adam Brody), found a friend and brother in Ryan to share his quirky way of looking at the world — and the trials and tribulations of winning the heart of Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson), Seth's lifelong crush. Ryan, himself, struggles with his tumultuous romance with the beautiful girl next door, Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton). From Josh Schwartz (Gossip Girl, Chuck) and McG (Charlie's Angels films), The O.C. was one of the highest-rated dramas on television. Season two features recurring guest stars Olivia Wilde as Alex; Logan Marshall-Greene as Ryan's brother, Trey; and Billy Campbell as Carter, the new editor of Newport Living.

Customer Reviews

The OC grips you from the very first episode wishing for Ryan, a neglected helpless young man, to become helped by the amazing Sandy Cohen. The OC always has an exciting, gripping and meaningful storyline which everyone can relate to. iTunes must put on series 3,4 and 5!!! If you have never watched The OC before you must; beware you'll be addicted! Best show ever! Sad there is no more series :(
