Glee, Season 1HDClosed Captioning

The highly anticipated first season of Glee follows an optimistic high school teacher, Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), as he tries to refuel his own passion while reinventing the high school’s glee club and challenging a group of outcasts to realize their star potential. It’s not an easy task when the pitch-imperfect club includes Mercedes (Amber Riley), a forceful diva-in-training; Artie (Kevin McHale), a geeky guitarist; Kurt (Chris Colfer), a dramatic soprano; Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), a punk rocker; and self-proclaimed “star” Rachel (Lea Michele), a perfectionist firecracker. McKinley’s cruel high school caste system prevents the glee club from flourishing, so Will recruits Finn (Cory Monteith), the quarterback with movie star looks, to join the group even though he wants to protect his reputation with his holier-than-thou girlfriend, Quinn (Dianna Agron), and his arrogant teammate, Puck (Mark Salling). With harsh criticism from everyone, including Will’s tough-as-nails wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) and McKinley’s egotistical cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), he is determined to prove them all wrong and lead the glee club to the greatest competition of them all: Nationals.

Seriously watch now! This show is brilliant.

I've seen all the whole of this season up to the mid-season sectionals finale, which is the last until April in america. Trust me this is a must see show and I'm impressed that E4 has got ahold of this even before the second half of the first season has started. At first you'll probably find the studio recordings of the songs out of place at times, especially when the club is just in a practice room or outside, but you quickly get used to it and enjoy all the songs. (Just try to ignore any rapping, it only happens once or twice and yes it is awful). The story lines are brilliantly crazy and there are so many laughs. It's just a great feel good show and you'll love every second of it.

(Best moment for me so far is seeing a high school american football team do a well known dance, one second they look all macho, next that are doing a ridiculously feminine dance routine. It's just priceless and had me in stitches)

Omg been waiting long enough for this show 2 come to the UK :D so the brits let us down with britannia high..yeah lets not even go there! it was bad. But Glee brings a new light to the dull brit tv that we have...depressing shows like skins, misfits - showing the worse side of life.
Glee is clever comedy with great characters and lets not forget 2 mention great singing!
I know its going 2 b one of my fav tv shows and i cant wait 4 it 2 start properly next year!
i am musical theatre obsessed and this is the tv show I'v been waiting for! :D

Glee is a FANTASTIC series

Although living in the UK, with the help of an American friend, I've already seen the first season. It is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time, and I have all the music on my ipod due to the high-calibre performances. The show is funny, very clever, in parts emotional, and entertaining to the max. If you like good music, good acting, and good storylines...tune in.
