Description

Stylish modern reworking of the classic 1960s TV series, The Prisoner. Michael has resigned from his job at surveillance firm Summakor, and now people are after him. On the day of his resignation, one minute he is in his New York apartment, the next he wakes in another place – a place known only as The Village. Here, there are no names, only numbers, the sky is blue and there is seeming peace and order, all overseen by the looming figure of Two. And for Two and everyone else in the Village, Michael is not Michael he is known as nothing but “Six”. Michael soon discovers this order is only surface thin, all is in the control of Two and more crucially, there is seemingly no escape. No matter how hard he tries.

No Sound On Episode 4 & Out Of Sync On 3

There is out of sinc sound on episode 3 & no sound on episode 4 In HD and standard, I have complained and have been told that I may get a refund, but nothing has happened yet!!!

BEWARE!!!

Not the Prisoner or is it?

Ok - I thought I'd gve this a go and for those who want to know, its ok. I think it will get interesting. It's not the Prisoner that we know and love but there are a lot of elements from the original which fans will recognize. Its shot in Africa and stylistically its worth buying the HD version just because it's nice to look at. It's typical of other slightly scifi pop culture (for lack of a better term) shows like Flashforward and Lost. Will it be a classic like the original - I don't think so but I'll probably download the next episode only because it's not available on TV where I am.

prisoner???

I can't believe the americans keep taking brit clasics and turning them into trash.
All the charm and humour is missing here not to mention the charismatic Pat Mcgoohan......no thanks......the origional can't be beat!
