Dig deeper into the world of Venture with Season 3: a rich tapestry of past and present, cause and effect, unitards and bodystockings. Witness the genesis of villainous personae, the clash of sporadically opposing forces, and the birth of debilitating neuroses in this, the sturmiest, most drangful season yet.

Let down

Unfortunatly series 3 is a let down. They've made the same mistake that South Park did by uncensoring the nudity and swearing. The censorship made it funnier. Also the stories aren't so good in this series and Sgt Hatred is an incredibly annoying character who isn't funny and isn't interesting.

What is good about this is seeing Hank and Dean's paths start to diverge. Dean becoming more of a super scientist and Hank wanting to be like Brock.

Series 4 looks much better from what I've seen.

Good pricing though.

was good

just as funny as season 2 i believe. good work cant wait for season 4 brock is hilarious favourite character.

Lore heavy, but still brilliant

Ignore the two star review for this Season, the reviewer was actually reviewing Season 4 without realising it.

Season 3 is far more lore heavy than the previous two seasons. Publick and Hammer started to explore the history and rules of the universe they created, and the it's a hugely enjoyable jaunt for the real fans of the show. Characters mentioned in passing get their time on screen, and we finally learn more about the world.

It really is a hugely satisfying pay-off for those fans who were watching closely. The flip side is that, for casual viewers, this Season might seem a little dry. They're mistaken of course, but they're only casual viewers, so you can't be too hard on them.

Personally this is my second favourite season after the second one. It's wonderful, and part of the thing that sets The Venture Bros. apart from its contemporaries.
