Description

Experience the inner workings of the White House in this innovative, multiple Emmy® Award-winning drama series created by Emmy® winner Aaron Sorkin (Sports Night). Brilliant United States President Josiah Bartlet's "folksy" charm and country-lawyer charisma complement his deep conviction and his devotion to what he believes is right for the country. And his eclectic group of frenzied staffers tirelessly labour on behalf of those principles morning, noon and night in The West Wing. Martin Sheen (Apocalypse Now) leads an acclaimed ensemble cast.

Ensemble Acting At Its Finest

The West Wing is brilliant show with exceptional writing from Aaron Sorkin and actors who produce a quality of acting that is rare for television- watch it and you will be hooked to the mixture of witty banter, personal trials and cliff hanger political debacles. The show has lost none of its relevance since it first aired in 1999, though personally I would say series 1-5 are the golden years of the show. It is both educational, humourous and gripping - a perfect drama with Martin Sheen, Alison Janney, Richard Schiff, John Spencer, Brad Whitford and Rob Lowe producing a natural chemistry as an ensemble that is addictive viewing and makes you wish you were a member of the West Wing's staff.
