Torchwood, Miracle DayCaution

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV programmes.

One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep ageing - they get hurt and sick - but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight. With all the extra people, resources are finite. It’s said that in four month's time, the human race will cease to be viable. But this can’t be a natural event – someone’s got to be behind it. It’s a race against time as C.I.A. agent Rex Matheson investigates a global conspiracy. The answers lie within an old, secret British institute. As Rex keeps asking “What is Torchwood?" he’s drawn into a world of adventure, and a threat to change what it means to be human, forever.

Man it's gone bad

A potentially excellent storyline ruined by americanising the series, please go back to how it was before. This series is gonna be as so far is pants.

Not the same...but still good...

I think I speak for most of us when I say that we miss the old Torchwood format but at the end of the day we always knew it was going to change with the whole 'Torchwood officers die young' thing Russell had going. I got frustrated with him repeatedly killing off decent characters and I don't think the show will ever be the same without the talent of Gareth David-Lloyd and Ianto's coffee....the new American budget has definitely been used too heavily in employing American actors. The heart of Torchwood was always how British it was and the new American setting is just not the same. For me COE was the best series yet as it showed the amount of brilliant acting talent we have by showcasing a fantastic British cast. I would recommend this as something to watch as there are some good new characters and obviously the ever adorable friendship between Gwen and Jack....the old Torchwood is still in there may just need to dig a little deeper to find it.

This show has been ruined by the american budget it's been given. You can tell from cheesy lines to overdone explosions. Torchwood just isn't the same any more.
