TT Legends follows three seemingly ordinary guys are they take on the challenge of the motorcycle Endurance World Championships. John McGuinness is a former bricklayer from the little town of Morecambe in England. Before he swapped building sites for the racetrack he also worked as a shellfish picker to earn enough to buy a race bike. With nineteen wins at the infamous Isle of Man TT to his name he’s the most experienced rider in the team. Easy going Australian Cameron Donald still finds time to work as a plumber in his native Melbourne when he’s not racing motorcycles on some of the world’s most dangerous circuits. Boasting two TT titles Cam’s no slouch but can he cope with being away from his beloved Australia for more than half the year? The youngest member of the team is Simon Andrews – although he’s not got the experience of his fellow riders he knows about the dangerous side of racing well enough. A big accident at a supposedly “safe” short circuit nearly ended Simon’s fledgling career and, as the season starts, he’s still fighting his way back to fitness. All three members of the team must be fully fit to take on the five rounds of the Endurance World Championship. Between them they’ll have to race their state-of-the-art motorcycle for up to 24 hours at a time, in all weathers and against the very best racers in the world. Added to that they’ll be doing the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT – racing at 200mph on public roads! This is the inside story of the TT Legends – get ready for the ride of your life!
