Victoria is the landmark account of the early years on the throne of one of Britain’s greatest queens. Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) plays Victoria, taking her first faltering steps from capricious, hormonal teenager to respected monarch. Central to the drama is the scandalous friendship between Victoria and her first prime minister Lord Melbourne (BAFTA nominated Rufus Sewell; The Man in the High Castle), and the romance with her cousin Prince Albert (Tom Hughes; The Game).

Customer Reviews

Absolutely brilliant.

The programme itself is amazing. It's very fast pace but thoroughly enjoyable. I assume the £17 will be for the whole 8 part series. Each episode is £2.49!
However I agree that this can be watched for free on ITV catchup service.

Excellent TV show, well worth the money.

The acting

The worst acting I have ever seen for a production that cost so much, add on the horrible story lines, it's basicly a copy of Downton Abbey with Queen Victoria dragged in to get viewers interested. In one sentence I can describe what I felt watching this; "You know its bad when Jenna Coleman is the best actor in the entire production".
