Aqui y Ahora is the fifth studio record by Mexican star, singer, and actor Erik Rubin. A popular Mexican personality since his years in a teen pop band, Rubin matured into one of the most recognizable celebrity faces of contemporary Mexican pop culture due to a string of successful solo albums and a number of roles in popular soap operas. Aqui y Ahora, which means "here and now," was his first record for Sony Music, and with a sophisticated pop/rock sound influenced by Brit-pop it was considered Rubin's most mature work to date.
