Composer Stu Phillips, along with series creator Glen Larson, unleashed his most memorable cue on the main title theme to the 1978 sci-fi television series Battlestar Galactica. Edel company's CD release is mastered very hot, accenting both the dynamics of the music and the lack of ambience in the original recording (a trait common to many soundtracks for MCA productions during the '70s).
