Album Review

Atrocity used to record for Metalcore UK, and now they're back, with some of this release re-recorded from their 1991's Infected. This is a metal-punk, hardcore, thrash, and grindcore assault on the senses, along with some vicious guitar noodling. Aside from the gurgled Satan-singing that is the genre's staple, it's like Cro-Mags, C.O.C., and D.R.I. in a street fight with Possessed, Morbid Angel, and Death (see "Personal Decimation"). Lock up your daughters, sons, uncles, aunts, dogs, cats, and goldfish from this most foul, filthy, fast, and furious death metal thrash.

Formed: 1985

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s

The follow-up, Longing for Death, was released in 1992 to minor controversy when the band's original title, "Todessehnsucht," was not accepted by the record company....
