Though it's part of a Sony-distributed series that practically asks you to dispose of the whole package (well, recycle it) once MP3s have been extracted, Playlist: The Very Best of Gloria Estefan is a serviceable one-disc summary of Estefan's career with and without Miami Sound Machine through the early '90s. It's heavy on her most popular albums, Primitive Love (1985), Let It Loose (1987), and Cuts Both Ways (1989). Naturally, it's loaded with most of her biggest singles, including the number one pop hits "Anything for You" and "Don't Wanna Lose You," as well as the dance hits "Conga," "The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," and "Bad Boy."
