This Spanish-language version of the Tex-Mex supergroup's debut had the same musical mix as its Anglo counterpart: There are still Tejano country ballads from Freddy Fender, virtuoso accordion showcases from Flaco Jiménez and border rock 'n' roll from Doug Sahm and his old Sir Douglas Quintet keyboard partner Augie Meyers. Fender's mighty voice features more heavily in this version, even on the frathouse rocker "En Que Pensabas Tu". Meyers' pounding Farfisa organ, best heard on the stomping "Dinero", is a blast in any language.
