Wolf Sister is one of the smoothest and sweetest new age discs ever, regardless of style. Marina Raye's atmospheres are perfect blends of acoustics and nature samples with subtle electronics. Gentle rhythms compliment the sound design elegantly and soulfully. Michael Graham Allen, of Coyote Oldman, says, "Marina Raye speaks through her flutes with god heart and a strong sweet voice." These balanced soundscapes have organic textures and dynamic timbres. There are no holes and no missing pieces. Raye has covered the entire spectrum. Marina Raye was born in the Congo and lived there for the first ten years of her life. Her unique experiences as a Caucasian female in culturally diverse environs have given her an original perspective for musical interpretation.
