Album Review

Released shortly after Lazy, Soft and Slow, this EP is worthwhile for its B-side material. Without sacrificing any melody, "Questionnaire" is his heaviest solo tune yet. "Laughter and Honey" and "Slaughterhouse Friend" are both strong as well, whetting the appetites of Chadwick fans for a second solo turn.

After the fall of the House of Love, Guy Chadwick formed the short-lived Madonnas, who sporadically gigged throughout the last half of 1994, including a short stint opening for the Cranberries (who once opened for the House of Love, ironically). Without a label, the band recorded a batch of songs, hoping to release an EP by early summer of 1995. Chadwick broke up the band before anything saw release and moved to Belgium. He then formed yet another group, the Eyedreams, who had an album dusted off...
