Allen Vizzutti

About Allen Vizzutti

After graduating from the Eastman School of Music in the early 1980s, Allen Vizzutti relocated to Los Angeles, where he played on numerous movie and television soundtracks. He also played in bands backing artists such as Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, and Neil Diamond, and toured extensively in the United States and overseas. Vizzutti is skilled in both jazz and classical contexts, and has played with the likes of Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Dizzy Gillespie, Sarah Vaughan, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. Among his classical recordings is his own composition "Emerald Trumpet Concerto," recorded with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. ~ Rovi Staff
