Norteño stars Los Linderos del Norte were founded in 1998 in the town of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua. Two years later, tragedy descended upon Los Linderos when an accident claimed the lives of four members. With a new lineup, the group recorded two discs and maintained a busy touring schedule between 2002 and 2006. An introduction to legendary hitmaker Ramón González Mora resulted in the band being signed to his A.R.C. Discos label, and Mora produced their next record himself. The band's new single, "Como Olvidarte," hit airwaves in 2007, climbing into the charts soon afterward. Their major-label debut, Como Olvidarte, followed soon after. ~ Evan C. Gutierrez
