About Lou Fellingham

Singer/songwriter and Christian worship leader Lou Fellingham was a founding member of British Christian rock band Phatfish. She grew up in the West Sussex village of Turners Hill in England, and in her teens she sang in the local Christian groups Turners Hill Mob and 4th Dimension. She joined Brighton band Phatfish in 1994, and four years later married fellow bandmember Nathan Fellingham. The couple went on to have three children together and the family attended Church of Christ the King, where they were frequently involved in leading musical projects and worship. Alongside her work with Phatfish, Fellingham branched out into solo recording. She released her debut solo album, Treasure, in 2006. Her follow-up, Promised Land, earned a Gold Award from the Christian Broadcasting Council in the "Worship Album of 2008" category. Following her solo success, subsequent tours with the band were titled Phatfish & Lou Fellingham as they incorporated some of her songs into their set lists. 2010 saw the release of Fellingham's third solo outing. Step Into the Light was launched with a concert at the Komedia in Brighton, which sold out. Her continued solo successes led to multiple invites to appear on the BBC's Songs of Praise. In 2014, the singer/songwriter released her fourth record, Fascinate, and she followed that up in 2017 with her first live album, This Changes Everything, which was recorded at the Old Market Theater in Brighton. ~ Bekki Bemrose
