Formed in Richmond, Surrey, in 1977, the Method's punky reggae hybrid was one of the brightest sounds to hit vinyl at the end of that year. Helmed by producer Robin Scott (at that time best known for his work with Roogalator), the Method's debut single, "Dynamo"/"Kings on the Corner," was the maiden release on Scott's own Do It label and should have given all concerned a maiden hit with no problem whatsoever. Instead the single flopped and the Method broke up the following year, without even a follow-up 45 to their name.
