The Canadian Tenors

About The Canadian Tenors

Since the Three Tenors first became superstars in the early '90s, a trio of tenors has become a standard vocal ensemble formation. Although it began as a trio, the Canadian Tenors, however, have expanded that idea to a quartet. The group was actually founded by British Columbia composer Jill Ann Siemens and took a few years to settle into a compatible blend of talents. The quartet's 2008 debut album quickly became a best-seller and was followed in 2009 by a holiday album, The Perfect Gift, which also went gold. Both albums eventually became multi-platinum sellers. Soon after, the group changed its name to just The Tenors, having solidified its talent and reputation. ~ Patsy Morita
