The Habits were a London-based trio with a heavily R&B-influenced sound. Their one single, "I Need You" b/w Elbow Baby," cut for English Decca, never charted despite being produced by Spencer Davis and Steve Winwood, and the band split up soon after its release. Lead guitarist Brian Simmons was never heard from again, but drummer Brian Davison passed through the Mark Leeman Five, the Attack, and the Nice. ~ Bruce Eder
