Publisher Description

The Suite bergamasque by Claude Debussy is one of his most famous works for the piano. The suite contains the famous "Clair de Lune," which translates to "Moonlight" in English. Debussy began the suite in 1885, but did not publish it until 1905. During the years, Debussy made changes to titles of two of the pieces: "Passepied" was called "Pavane" and "Clair de lune" was originally titled "Promenade Sentimentale."
