What Happened Last Night‪?‬

There are six short stories in this book, dealing with murder, jealousy, covetousness, vanity, a few ghosts, and mixed with a little love.

When her husband returns home after a night out with his friends, his wife is worried when he refuses to tell her why he is so scared. But Esteen will stop at nothing to find out What Happened Last Night?, even if it means she must encounter Claude Hawk Randolph, known as Hawk, to find out. Hawk has an evil reputation, but Esteen know that whatever happened last night was evil too.

Accidental Murder, a story of a man who decides to murder his wife. He believes he has the perfect plan to rid himself of his perfect wife, who he detests, but things don't go as he plans. What appears as an accident, is really murder, but no one would ever thing such for the perfect little couple in this turn of the century story.

In Delusional,Emmett Wallace is in love with Gloria, his next door neighbor, but Emmett Wallace is married and so is Gloria. Things will work out for them he is sure. Some day they will be together. But when Gloria's husband has an accident, Emmett is not convinced that it was an accident. Just who is this man that was involved in the accident? Did Gloria have another man? Did he kill her husband so they could be together? Tormented with suspicion, Emmett Wallace decides he will not be the jilted lover. He decides to expose Gloria for her evil deed, but things don't go just as he plans.

In Crazy Louise,when Alice returns home from the grocery store, she finds her sister, Louise, covered in what appears to be red mud from being at the creek below their home. But when they go upstair for a chance of cloths, they find someone has committed a horrible deed. Their brother and his new wife has been murdered with an ax and Louise's reputation will be her downfall.

A man, who loves his work, wants to brag about his accomplishments in Occupation. He knows his old roommate can't reveal his secrets since he is a priest. But Kyle learns the hard way about Occupations.

Little Brown House is the home for a couple who saw a tornado tear through the community. Mary Alice is angry when she hears all the noise, feels as if the intruders in her yard are doing more damage than good, but her husband John Martin reminds her what is really bothering her. Mary Alice must come to grips with things as they are and understand we all have our time.
