I've Said Too Much is a film podcast started by Michael Rowland to discuss the place a film series can hold in our lives. We're aware of how daunting it can be to start a film series, so we separate the wheat from the chaff, letting you know which entries are "Essential" and which sequels should be just be skipped.

Episode 12 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Featuring Krista)

Hey there, happy listeners! Today I'm ending a successful first season of I've Said Too Much by examining a reptile-driven film franchise. No, NOT GODZILLA! Heroes in a half-shell- Turtle power! That's right, we're talking about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I've brought on the biggest turtle fan I know: my friend Krista! She's been a fan of these films since she was a kiddo while I'm just watching them for the first time, so it will be interesting to see the disconnect in opinions!

ISTM will be back in April of 2016 to provide analysis of classic film franchises and new theatrical releases. We'll be leaner, meaner and better than ever. Thank you for listening, gang.

Episode 11 - Godzilla, Godzilla Raids Again, King Kong Vs Godzilla (Featuring Chris Ochs)

Good Monday to you, my happy listeners. Sometimes I (Michael) will be asked by people in the real world, "Ugh, why do you like Godzilla?" In celebration of the new Godzilla film coming out in Japan this year, I seek to answer that question with a rotating panel of guests.

Our first episode, funnily enough, covers the first three Godzilla fims made from 1954 - 1962. My hope for this series of episodes is that we encourage you to check out at least one Godzilla film. You may be surprised at the social commentary that pops up from time to time, particularly in the franchise's dark and allegorical starting point.
