Reseña de álbum

This 16-year Milwaukee act led by Paul J. Wall (the Nice Outfit) lists these tags on Trolley's Bandcamp page: "paisley underground power-pop psych-pop folk-rock garage rock." That about covers it, actually — if you affix mod and British Invasion inflections as boomeranged through America's 1965-1966 response (pump up those ringing Byrds-ian guitars). If we must pin Trolley down, there are loads of high-energy/high-harmony stylings from Nuggets giants — heck, Trolley appropriate the Seeds' 1965 number 36 "Pushin' Too Hard" two-chord seesaw riff for the opening "I Woke Up," and "Vanity Song" is like a 1965 Kinks tribute. If Jellyfish played quicker like the Nerves, if Jigsaw Seen and Three Hour Tour moved to Beer City, or if Len Price 3 were cheeseheads, they'd approximate these '60s meteors with the lullaby melodies and "oohh-la-la-la" backing vocals.
