Cannot connect to VPN most of the time in China

Started from end of Sept, cannot connect to VPN server(?) and so no VPN connection successfully up to today. How and who can help to resolve ?

Horrible App！Charge u every month without ur authorization

I have been using iOS more than 10 years. I m extremely familiar with the subscription process. I do not not how this app by-pass the normal authorization process and got me into a subscription charging me 93hkd a month. I didn’t subscribe anything, therefore I didn’t frequently check my apple invoice. I just realized it had been charging me every month for more than a year! Horrible app! I used this in China last year, it was very slow and therefore I never used it again. Will try to report to iTunes, but the way they by-pass subscription authorization is really horrible!

**FROM YOUR iOS 9 and 10**
1. Open the App Store and at the bottom, tap Featured.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap your Apple ID (Make sure to Sign In first).
3. Tap View Apple ID.
4. Under “Subscriptions,” tap Manage.
5. Tap your Betternet Premium subscription.
6. Switch Off Auto-Renewal and then click Confirm.

**FROM YOUR iOS 11**
1.Launch the Settings app.
2.Tap iTunes & App Store.
3.Tap on your Apple ID.
4.Tap View Apple ID when the pop-up window appears.
5.Enter your Apple ID password or fingerprint ID when prompted.
6.Tap Subscriptions.
7.Tap the Subscription you want to cancel.
8. Tap your Betternet Premium subscription.
9. Switch Off Auto-Renewal and then click Confirm.

For help cancelling auto -pay, please contact us through our app tap 3-Bar icon and please select the second option"Contact us", then click on "Something Else" to guide you through the steps.

beware of what you signed up for

I deleted the app and somehow it was as not able to be removed. the app icon on my iPhone was gone, but it’s still showing VPN next to the internet signal sign, so which means it’s still linked. it sufficiently slow down my internet and my mobile cannot connect to internet without allow it accessing wireless data. it was a nightmare and I wonder if it is even safe to be used, perhaps it’s good to check out their terms and conditions, maybe it is recording all your internet usage for other purposes. let’s hope I can remove the app this nth time...
