I want more life

This game is hilarious with the crazy enemies and animated backgrounds. The graphics and music are great. However after only playing it twice I'm probably never going to play it again. Why? Coz the limited lives system went out in the 80s. Noone wants to have to replay levels anymore once they've lost all their lives. Sure, it takes some if the challenge away, but in a world so full of thousands of free or cheap games, I'm not gonna waste hours trying to beat 1 level.
