Our stay at Hanover Marriott NJ
checked in yesterday and were assigned Room 644 - was told it’s a very nice and quiet room for the special Platinum Elite. After checked into the room and unpacked, we found the room is for wheelchair accessible guest where the bathroom is a bit strange - without much counter space to put things and we couldn’t find hooks to put clothes and towels. Only things we found are many hand rails. Instead of changing room we asked to get two luggage racks in the bathroom to put our things and thought it should be ok as we didn’t want to pack and unpack again.
At midnight our next room 646 neighbour started talking and laughing very loudly from 1245 to 0250. We were waken up and were unable to get back to sleep. We found there is a connecting room door in our room and soundproof is bad. We went down to reception at 8 AM on 12/29 and requested to change room. We were given another room 204. We checked and declined the room change as it’s on the 2nd floor with many public facilities and is located right above the big parking lot. We figured we don’t have any improvement at all to change to room 204. We are quite disappointed about this arrangement.

Very convenient and useful app
Love this app, makes every stay at Marriott properties a streamlined experience. Mobile check-in and my key is ready when I arrive. Also love the service request function, forgot to ask for shaving kit before leaving the hotel? I can now request it anywhere I want. Likewise the chat service is very useful and I now prefer it over calling the front desk.
Finding and booking rooms is also fast and easy. Can definitely recommend exploring the functions of this app to anyone frequently staying at Marriott brands.
Really appreciate the effort Marriott put into this app.
