Best Japanese podcast ever

     

High Five from Hong Kong! I am a freelance photographer and it's been too long of a delay for submitting my five stars for you Alex due to my busy life. I had been a fan since the first series dating back to... 2006?... can't remember correctly. I started self-study on basic Japanese while listening to this podcast to balance textbook & conversational use. Then I took some part-time lessons which helped me to get my JLPT 3 (old) before I spent a year in Osaka. What I found most useful is that it is only with the help of the podcast that I was still able to work freelance as a photographer up until now with occasional Japanese clients. What makes this podcast different is the fun, down-to-earth, all-rounded look into the study of the Japanese language/culture, which emphasizes that context is equally important when compared to content. And not to mention, the humour is what makes you stand out in the crowd. Entertaining, witty, and informative. Quick wish, is to see if you can always remember to cover the formal/polite form that we might hear or have to use in some situations. cheerx =)
