They might not receive the same plaudits from music critics as other 1960s groups like the Beatles, the Beach Boys, or the Rolling Stones, but the Four Seasons, led by the writing, arranging, and producing skills of Bob Gaudio and the soaring lead falsetto vocals of Frankie Valli, strung together a pretty impressive series of singles during the group's prime, each well-recorded and featuring subtle recording touches that equal those other groups.
